Back to July 2015, the World Health Organization (WHO) opened an announcement for the Non-Government Organizations (NGO) and the Civil Society Organization (CSO) for application to attend the first global consultative meeting with NGOs and CSOs. Of the 400 applicants, about 100 organizations including THRF was selected to attend the conference and 15 NGOs including THRF were selected to present their works in the Market Place.
The meeting was attended by 150 participants from 85 NGOs/CSOs from 35 countries. In the market place, THRF presented “Volunteer Ladies Against TB project”. Many participants show their interests to implement the Volunteer Ladies activities in their respective countries. Moreover, THRF’s president also co-chaired a plenary session inthe meeting.
